In the pink

In this garden we inherited several sorts of wild geranium in colours ranging from dark purple to this, a very delicate pale pink. Last year, if it flowered at all, this plant was hidden under a huge, dense clump of lemon balm, much of which has since been removed.

Busy, busy, busy! For the second day running I failed meet up with Anita for coffee as planned but, instead, headed back to the surgery for another appointment with a GP. The cough hasn't improved at all, and if anything is getting worse. Apparently no sign of a chest infection now though, and the GP prescribed an inhaler which should (fingers crossed!) clear up any irritation caused by the initial cough. No inhalers in stock at the local pharmacy, so I'll need to go back to fetch it tomorrow...

Walked home for a bite to eat with MrM before he drove us back into Holmfirth via Aldi, where we bought a few food essentials. Then, in the centre of town, took three large bags of clothes (that no longer fit) to one of the charity shops, and went to the wholefood shop to fill one of our containers with seeds. Lastly, to the local Labour Party HQ to pick up a couple of large posters to put on our fence. A bit late in the election campaign, but maybe better late than never. The whole trip took much longer than anticipated, and the afternoon had all but gone by the time we got home.

Watering of containers required this evening. It'll be a daily occurrence if this good weather holds.
