Flags of Sicily

I was at the post office this morning and saw these flags across the street. I didn't know what they were. I described them to Jill, who looked it up and told me.

The one on the left is the current flag, featuring a triskeles symbol (the legs), a Medusa head, a pair of wings and wheat ears. The one on the right is the flag of the Sicilian revolution of 1848.
