Eternal Glory

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

There's a cricket sweep going on at work. Briar is behind it. She loves ALL sport.

She entered me into it too. I somehow drew Australia and then I was told they would qualify for the next round if Bangladesh beat Afghanistan. Or something.

I'd shown no interest before. Nor was there a prize for me if Australia won. Nevertheless, my competitive side was piqued. 

"And just like that, he was interested in sports," I said in the group chat. Accompanied by a picture of Carrie Bradshaw holding a kitten.

Briar answered in the group chat, saying that if Australia won there was no prize. But I would get "Eternal Glory".

I replied that I should get Eternal Glory for managing to insert Carrie Bradshaw into a sports chat. 

And that is when I received this.

I feel strangely proud.
