Wooden bowl

This is a bowl that my grandfather made years ago, probably before I was even born, to hold my grandmother's thread and sewing supplies.  I'm using it for the same purpose. The piece on the right is a lid for the bowl.  He was quite a good carpenter.

It's sitting on a sewing machine cabinet that he also made. Looks like I need to do something about the water rings on it.
