Bunting To Be!

My sister is getting married in just over 5 weeks and the day after the wedding they are having a barbecue in my parents' garden. My sister and her fiancé live in Liverpool and are going back to where she grew up to get married. A lot of their friends and family will be travelling a bit of a distance to be part of the nuptials so my parents thought it would be nice to extend the celebrations with a gathering the next day.

This fabric, along with some more that is yet to be bought, is going to become bunting to decorate the marquee, that will hopefully provide shade from the sunshine and not shelter from the rain! I offered to make it for them as I reckon it will look really pretty. Plus, I really love sewing!
