A Most Unusual Delphinium

I went to the orthopedic surgeon this morning to discuss my hip...we both agreed that the pain is coming from a pinched nerve in my spine (L5 to be exact) and now we're taking next steps. Hopefully I'll have injections before the summer has waned away!

I did go grocery shopping afterwords and was surprised at how much was on sale that I truly needed (hahah). Spent the afternoon puttering around, working on my class a bit, watering. It's a murky, cool day - I sure won't be sitting in my courtyard tonight for supper. I think it's a movie night!

I saw this most unusual delphinium at the grocery store today. It's not unlike one I photographed a couple of years ago, expect for the green stripes. It's interesting isn't it?
