Crows nest?

Not sure whether these birds were crows or jackdaws but they were making an almighty racket perched on the weather vane and right along the parapet of the church tower.  Probably several families merged into one.

Lovely hot day.  T joined a team of haymakers on our neighbours farm this afternoon and just the right weather.

Extra: my friend the black necked pheasant has sneaked into the garden again since losing his territory.  I think his tail feathers are beginning to grow  and his rival the white collared pheasant and his hen were nowhere to be seen!  I ought to give them names .....
