Winchester and Silk Mill

I had a coach trip with the U3A today. We had a morning in Winchester where we went into the Cathedral. After lunch we went on to Whitchurch to visit the Silk Mill where we had a guided tour. It was very interesting. Photo shows the exquisitely embroidered alter cloth in the Lady Chapel. In the Cathedral and the second one a silk loom with weaving project in progress.
