Whaligoe Steps Shags

A visit today to the Whaligoe Steps - 365 down to an old fishing place. Lots of seabirds including many shag families. Back up the steps to the cafe for lunch, then walked along the beach from Reiss to Keiss.

Apparently there's a dead minke whale washed up on Thurso beach. Slightly tempted to go for a nosey but it could be smelly so think maybe a game of Bananagrams instead?
