Gotcha!

The Lakes beckoned today, but at first I couldn't decide where to go.  A591 and make for Windermere.  Never got there as I passed Grasmere there were two farmers shearing sheep.  I stopped and had a chat and they didn't mind photos being taken.  The chap doing the the shearing has been on TV.  There has been a programme called 'Lakes and Dales' on which he took part.  The breed being sheared were not Herdwicks as I was told it was to early for them to be sheared as that breed were still had lambs suckling.  All in all a good ten minute chat.  Yes I should have asked what was the breed.  There were certainly big and a handful until the farmer got control.  Something different anyway.
