Mme Kingfisher

There was a pair of very busy Kingfishers at the Grand Canal today, a long way from me. This is the female with the orange lower beak, the male is in extra. I was delighted to observe them diving, and probably fishing to feed their young.


Thanks so much for yesterday’s gifts too, it is a great walk and I do it several times a year.
