I was awake and up early. An hour later a decision made to go for a walk while it was cool and before the roads got busy.

Thought it was time to add another tarn to my list, though this is one I’ve done before. Blea Tarn (Langdale) is perhaps best photographed with a blue sky, light on the Langdale Pikes and perfect reflections but for me today it was mostly about the walk and enjoying the scenery. 

I’ve added some extras. Remembered to download a map (for offline use) before I left so I could do the screenshot with the red arrow showing my location. I started just off the map at the top.
