Serendipity

And relax!

My 'catastrophic' problem is solved - I have t'internet back.

Two days without broadband, how did I ever manage to survive? Ha!

I have to say the OpenReach repair people were fantastic and, in the end, had to replace the whole run of fibre from my house to the connecting chamber, which is well over 50m away, if not nearer 100m away. It was all a bit confounding for them as the house builders hadn't put the fibre connections in as per the plans. It took some head scratching from the OpenReach folks. If they send me a survey to fill in it'll be an 11 out of 10 from me that's for sure as it was a hot day and they didn't give in to solving the problem,

I am convinced it's faster now too, but that might just be my imagination after having to tether the iPad to the other devices.

In other news tomorrow, on day four of my hols, I'm off to visit my bestie and her nipper at another National Trust property. I'm really getting the value from my new membership. You'll have to wait until tomorrow though to find out where.
