Did you know there's also a blue pimpernel and a bog pimpernel?  I have to confess I hadn't realised about the blue one, at least.

Very little walking today, as this grows both in my garden and down by the Nuns' Stream.  I didn't have to seek it anywhere, knowing exactly where to find it (hahaha!).  This means my day has been mostly domestic - and very hot!  We're currently into a flock/team/bunch (best collective noun wins the apocryphal Mars Bar) of family birthdays - my stepson's today, Big Sis's on Friday and Little Sis's on Saturday.  A party is being provided (but luckily not by me).  How nice..
