Grey day

Whilst other parts have been basking in sunshine in recent days , the Clyde coast has experienced lots of low cloud, though it has usually burnt off by mid afternoon.

That doesn't seem likely today though.    The cloud  was  actually higher when we  crossed over to Gourock on the 8.00 am ferry-  in order to attend a funeral in Port Glasgow  - than it was when we returned around 12.00.

This Is the "Beaumont", a general cargo vessel, which was fading into the increasingly  monochrome background  as our ferry passed by.
