Morning light on the city
We are 'camping' upstairs in the A-Frame this week, as S needs the car to keep appointments. We drive in through the traffic almost at peak, and then after I finish she collects me.
This photo was taken just after I arrived at the unit this morning. Such a nice clear sunny day here in Auckland. Meanwhile Tairawhiti and Gisborne have been once again battered by heavy rain and strong winds, complicated by high tides as sea water is driven against the shore.
I am saddened that a woman with undoubted mental illness has been sentenced to 18 years imprisonment. Especially, when reflecting that New Zealand/Aotearoa was one of, perhaps even the first to introduce an alternative of infanticide.
