Summer Colours

Kent took the day off work today and we both had appointments for manicures and pedicures first thing

As always, Kent leaves with no polish on any of his nails but I opted for some fun summer colours this month.

Once home again, Kent cut the front grass and I put out our 4th of July flags and also cut the palm fronds that were too close to the ground and cut back the honeysuckle.

That was enough outside for me! Heat index was 100° today and that was more than too hot for me to be out there long.

This evening we delivered ice cream to our friends who have the son who recently just finished chemo. We want them to know that although the immediate battle is over, they are still in our daily thoughts and prayers.
