Hydrangeas …

… in a large bush beside our back entrance.
Our hydrangea was planted about 10 years ago as a small bush.

It grew slowly until this year, eventually becoming quite large and covered with large purple flowers, much to our delight. There’s a smaller bush opposite, on the other side of the driveway, which provides a gentle echo.
