Races

On an extremely hot day it probably wasn’t my best choice for today but I’d pre-booked tickets, so a day at the races it was. Mum picked a couple of winners, I got a few pennies back, dad was very secretive about what he was backing and hubby had no winners.
We saw the puffin last year on the seafront at Hornsea and it appears that Beverley racecourse had the winning bid for him.
Watched the England game again tonight, another waste of time. The mist has come down here this evening and the cushions on the outdoor chairs were damp when we bought them in.
