Watching the Ducks

A quiet(?!) morning at home looking after Grandson#1 while his Mum & Dad went into town - then a quick trip to "Pets' Corner" at Jesmond Dene this afternoon. The little one had a great time looking at the goats, rabbits, sheep, pea fowl, chickens - and the ducks.

This evening was another of our camera club Summer School sessions where one of my colleagues (who's a great fan of Valda Bailey and Doug Chinnery) gave a fab talk on creative flower photography. I had the task of demonstrating the Pep Ventosa technique with flowers, and how to simulate a mirror box effect with Photoshop while others were leading on other creative techniques. All good fun and well received.
