Fire Service

My friend, who's a Brownie leader, asked me to be a responsible adult tonight for a Brownie trip to the local fire station. Firemen are my favourite emergency service so I was happy to oblige. The fire fighters put on an excellent hour of entertainment with information about the dangers of open water, fire in the home and a tour round a fire engine. The grand finale, which the Brownies liked the best, was a turn on the big hose. 

All 23 girls will be awarded their fire safety badge.
