At last

The workmen arrived finally to install the blinds in the veranda. It has been a long nine month wait but the result is good. We can further reduce the heat on very hot days and when the blinds are down to provide shade, reading a book is much more comfortable. The dishwasher repair man was supposed to come in the afternoon but didn’t. I complained to the company that Mrs TT had had to stay in all afternoon and an apology was forthcoming. I have still not got used to the difference between workman time and clock time! He will come tomorrow morning now which is an inconvenience as both of us were supposed to be cleaning the tennis courts to earn a club lunch afterwards. Mrs TT has volunteered to turn up late and I don’t think she is too upset about that.!
