Happy chucks

Now, I am the first to admit that I know nothing about chickens (could these be bantams), however, from my very limited knowledge, I reckon these chickens at the local Newhailes National Trust Estate are very happy. 

They reside in a quite large henhouse and run in the Market Garden area, and there are loads of toys and steps, bridges and ladders for them too. 

They also seem to have lovely coats/feathers and I love that they run towards me when I get close to them. They also chatter back and forth with each other and also, when I talk to them. 

Never thought I would do a blip about hens … next, I’ll be talking to plants.
