Just the Two of Us: Backpacking

Honey and I went to the vet this morning! Not her favourite thing because it means being bundled up into the backpack - and that is not without protest! Then there is the walk down the road with the noise of the traffic and loud miaows of protest from the imprisoned cat in the back, moving around a great deal! She's heavier now too. It takes about 8 minutes to get there. I need to cross the lights once over the road. so that can add a couple of minutes.  I came slower up the hill on the way back!

Honey got her annual vaccination and her claws clipped and up the hill home again with less loud miaows.  The vet is a very nice man.

The collage shows us setting off in the entrance of my building and also when we came back.  She enjoyed a late breakfast on her return and gave me a bit of a look from behind the curtain after she was released from the backpack!
