When you walk into a toddlers bedroom first thing in the morning and they smile and say ‘Nana’ it really does melt the heart. Early morning milk is always so beautiful too. Bek has only just recently stopped feeding him herself so to be able to give him his milky is such a treat. We had a lovely morning with him, including popping along to the shop, and Bek and Ry got home at about 11.30.
After a catch up with them - who had an amazing night in London seeing Foo Fighters - we set off for home. Again there was lots of traffic but all went smoothly.
Out this evening with the family to an Indian restaurant in town to celebrate Jennys 60th birthday. MiL has now 4 children in their 60’s! We had a lovely evening and a great meal.
A tad tired now!
