NZ Spring 2024

By AndrewNZ

A noisy day...

...but it had to be done.
We had a leak in the garage just a small one and it could only have been coming from the deck above so the paint had to be stripped back which meant a man with a diamond tipped grinder.

The Extras show the dust which was mostly caught in the vacuum attachment to the grinder and the heavier stuff was vacuumed up.
Once the paint was mostly off it became apparent that there was some blown screed on the 20 mm skim and the theory is that the water was getting under the skim and tracking along an RSJ where it dripped on B's Mini.
The last Extra shows the Supervisor inspecting the work and the three blown bits repaired and hopefully dried enough before this evenings potential rain.
Still some cracks that will be injected with sealer tomorrow and once its all dry and a dry day I shall repaint it.

A cool start, overcast clearing for a little sunshine before clouding over again but dry.
