Garden visitor

We were surprised to see this spiky one striding out at quite a pace across the lawn this morning. However, it looked perfectly fit and healthy as it headed uphill into the long grass. Perhaps the sudden change in air temperature had woken it up! After a showery start, the day grew warmer and warmer, quite a contrast to the icy winds of a week ago. By late afternoon it was far too warm for me, there’s no pleasing some folk!
