Mum in a Million

Mum in a Million is the name of this rose, my daughter gave it me for Mothering Sunday years ago, it usually struggles but this year it’s doing well, although I’ve noticed something has been munching the leaves. Our garden is a war of attrition, there is always something trying to eat or dig up whatever I’m trying to grow. The slugs have eaten my radishes so I’ve put some beer traps in & a mole is digging under my new plants, I suppose I’ve been watering them & attracted it in.
On the plus side I think it’s a good year for roses in general, they are all putting on a good show.
