If you can't beat them...

Blue Tit ( Cyanistes caeruleus )

A slow start to the day, we knew that most of the afternoon would be taken up with the funeral of a village lady, so I took "just on case shots".  Of the three species I shot this little Blue Tit appealed most.  Its plumage is starting to reflect the rigours of raising a nest full of chicks.

One smile among the sadness of the funeral.  The lady's husband, who has known me for the 47 years we have lived in the village, remarked on seeing me in a wheelchair at Dobbies garden centre.  He was sure it was me because Clickychick was there.  We had to explain that it would be Kanyl and coincidentally I would be elsewhere while CC talked to Kanyl.
