Ingunn in Oslo

My beloved Oslo - Pride month

Not my best shot for today, but it was a surprise that the sunbeams made a rainbow light shining on the man.  I was not aware of it when I took the shot. It's taken at the Akershus Fortress.

I got such sad news from Gaza today.
N is grieving and in shock. Two days ago five of her family members were killed in an airstrike. Today her mother passed away from malnutrition, lack of medicine and lack of clean water. She came to Gaza as a refugee from a small Palestinian village that was ethnical cleansed before 1948. She was 6 years old. Even if she made her life in Gaza, she never stopped talking or dreaming about returning to her village and the orange farm the family once had.  During the war she had to flee with all the challenges that we know everyone had and still have - to her sister's house in the Jabalia refugee camp. The camp has been laid in ruins.
Rest in power. Rest in peace. May there be peace.
