Day 21

Continued our drive north today, stopping off at St Paul le Gaultier, near Alençon, again. Originally planned to look for a different village, but with temperatures rising to 26°C today this green, shaded, stopover by a lake seemed enticing. Had a play with the camera in the late afternoon, & a lot of pond skaters & damselflies posed for me. The demoiselles and the muskrat were much more camera-shy, unfortunately. Have picked out this blue-tailed damselfly mainly because it didn't need any further processing apart from cropping, if I'm honest!
