Crathes Castle

Mrs CBL and I had an away day, the first proper one we’ve had this year.

We chose to head inland and drove down Royal Deeside to Crathes Castle.  It is the jewel in the crown of the National Trust in Aberdeenshire. 

The picture was taken in the newly completed Rose Garden, within The Walled Garden, which looked very colourful indeed.
