La Lonja de Cabranes

This was the family home of a wealthy local businessman, into the 20th century. It fell into decline and was bought by an Oviedo woman with local family, who, with her daughters to help with the physical reconstruction and the decoration, and with some grant finance, wanted to convert it into a good-quality restaurant with hotel rooms attached.  The business failed to keep to its business plan and has effectively closed.
