Dead hedge!!!

Last year we ‘lost’ this hedge - no growth, no leaves, nothing and we considered buying new plants to start again. Amazingly at the beginning of the year we noticed a couple of leaves really close to the ground so decided to wait - definitely the right thing to do. It looks ace today
