Frog Hunter

A Red-shouldered hawk in our Bog. I watched as she felt around in the algae filled shallow water until she found what she was searching for...a small green water frog. The frog quickly became a snack. Large birds like this hawk and the Pileated woodpeckers often visit the Bog to bathe and, of course, to dine. m
