Bright

... and yellow! About the only bright thing around this time of year when everything is drab and dull. But it's one of the most hated plants in this part of the world. Probably introduced by early settlers to make the place feel more like home but it grows so well here that it became a problem. Now it is probably the least understood plant and not many people appreciate it for it's positive aspects.
