Foggy Start to the Day

It was good the rain didn't return until later in the day.

This afternoon I had my Cardiac Specialists appointment. I have been waiting for many months for this appointment because of my AF. 

The specialist told me he wasn't happy for me to have the Cardiac Ablation at this stage. Mostly because of my age. The older you get the success rate is much lower and there are more risks. But saying it said he has not ruled it out. He wants me to have the Holster on again and also a Heart scan.

I was told that if my heart goes into AF again to go straight to A&E as he wants to shock the heart back into its rhythm. If that is successful and I am okay for a few weeks afterwards... that would be a good sign that a Cardiac Ablation maybe successful for me. 

Now it's waiting for things to happen.. which could be many months wait.
