Behold the 1st sunflower of the year!

A while ago (24th April) I blipped this.
We started with 4 sunflower plants and as you can see thing's have grown since then. We've had 2 casualties since but we still have 2 going strong (this one seems to a 5 other flower buds, not sure if that is normal or it is a super mutant or what)

But still, success!!!! :D

Anyway in other news noah got his school trip today to Chester zoo and he is so excited . Claire did his pack lunch and snacks last night (with him being diabetic it was like planning a military operation) but in this heat you cannot be too careful and Claire is taking it easy (as easy with 2.5 kids in this heat wave) but Claire's mum has been helping out at home she has been a god send :) thank you julie you are a star.
