Cricket!

I was back at Garsington today for lunch and a rehearsal.  It was the first time the singers had been on the stage and the orchestra in the pit, so there was a lot of stopping and starting, and trying again.  It's fascinating to see how a production get "polished".

During the break I wandered over to the cricket pitch where disappointingly it was tea time.  The players and spectators were all in front of the club house to my right.  So there is no play in my photo, but look at the stripes on that pitch!!
