A day in the life

Öland is a huge producer of strawberries. From the weeks before midsummer until late July, depending on the weather. This year the berries were exceptionally early because of a very warm May. We could buy them already from the last week of May. Midsummer is the peak of sales but we've had two days of rain, which held back the sales.

Now the midsummer tourists has left, there's very little traffic in comparison and because of the two days of hard rain, even the birds are very quiet, most of them has already their first hatch out and are full up with flight training so, no time for singing.
