Hot monkeys

Scorcher of a day! Temperature at the zoo hit 30 degrees in the shade! My undergrad assistant started today - she's helping me collect data for my project and using some of it for her own. My supervisor was there today too, and we spent a lot of time out watching the monkeys while I tried to show my new assistant how you tell them all apart and what their names were.
As it was so hot the keepers put some paddling pools out filled with apples for the monkeys to dip into!
