Today's the day . . . . . . . . . . to sing

That's it then - our final concert in the refurbished Town Hall in New Galloway.  We're off now for the summer until the new term starts in September.

We had a full house to sing to and it all went very well.   More importantly, we'll be passing on more than £500 collected for the RNLI.  There are plans afoot to replace the 150-year old lifeboat station at Kirkcudbright, for which £50,000 has to be raised locally.  This will go a small way towards that.

There was a real 'end of term' feeling throughout the concert, helped by the fact that it was a lovely warm sunny day.  The summer beckons . . . . . .
