Into Stoneybatter for their festival to see Walkeleles (1st extra) and then TBL8 Brass Ensemble (2nd extra). The latter are terrific. Art exhibition, dog show, pickle eating competition and so much more

But my mundane blip is of my gnomes. They were lost in the jungle- but now found. I have cleaned them thoroughly but they need some cosmetic work. I asked my daughter (the artist not in residence) how to do this. And I have my instructions (instructions from a girl who scoffed at genomes but …. Well I can’t continue as it’s personal and based on sentimentality for her Dad)

Sometimes certain things bring you back to times past and you feel this terrible longing and it’s confusing
