In the Tree Tops

Very nice weather today so we decided to head to Chambers Wood near Bardney  to search out a blip. A few bits about but our walk was rewarded by spotting a butterfly in the tops of the tree so zoomed in and managed  a poor distant shot but upon  checking it out I was pleased to have got a shot of a Black Hairstreak a butterfly we knew that was around but sadly it didn't come down for a closer better shot still nice to see it. But despite the poor quality a 1st for me  to capture a shot of one so it just had to be my blip . A few other shots are on Flickr including a cricket and some other butterflies .

Back home via Lidl to get a snack for lunch and then we watched a great super league  rugby match which saw Salford beat Saint Helens a bit of a shock that leaves Wigan top of the table and then just watched  England brush USA aside in the T20  world cup match  to put them in to the semi-finals  after a very poor start to the tournament .
A relaxed evening now planed with some Euro football
