Leaving Lewes

Lewes has one of the most beautiful stations on the network with some fabulous planting on the platforms and views of the white cliffs. No driving today be a very pleasant journey despite the 2 replacement buses. I met a lovely lady called Sally who is a parkrunner so we chatted away through both bus rides and had a walk in the park at Ashford to fill the hour waiting for our connection.
Home to happy H who’sd won his cricket, played some table tennis in the garden and now waiting for our roast to cook. It’s been a lovely weekend.
