In need of restoration

It is a shame to see this classic scooter decaying. I wonder if someone will take it on as a project as it deserves to be restored. I am old enough to remember, when I lived in North Kent, the mods and rockers travelling down the Thanet way to Margate every weekend. Occasionally there was trouble. The mods looked very fine with their parkas and smart clothes and scooters adorned with many rear view mirrors. I was back to playing tennis today but a little rusty.. We played on the new court which seemed to play faster with higher bounce which I found difficult. More practice required!
