end of the day and things are put away

It is a wonder I got things picked up. I was on the run a good part of the day. I met with Don for a music practice at about 10:30. We are planning to play some music for the local nursing home next week, I think. and we will need one more go through to make sure we have the order right.
Then I met with Sue and we went through the pieces we are going to play Sunday for church. And a few more for fun.
After that, I went home and collected myself and got ready to go to an evening meeting. One member gave a program on Peru and her trip to Machu Pitchu. It was so interesting and brought back lots of memories for me as we had been there in 1976.
There never seemed to be a right time to take a picture so tonight after it was past time to go to bed, I looked at my living room, picked up the bags and horns and thought I should take a picture here. They are quiet now and slumped in the corner by the piano.
Tomorrow I am going to Lynden to take a friend to lunch for her birthday. Tomorrow night we will have company here for dinner.
