A much needed day-of getting things done. Our polling letters arrived which leaves me with a strange mix of contradictory feelings. I want to feel the sense of hope in the late 90"s when labour was about to win the landslide. It feels as if it would be easier to summon demons than harbour the feeling British politics can be a source of hope. 

In other news the milennial is about to have a birthday so we found a gift for him. Enjoyed a shopping wander and observed another German/Berlin phenomenon. Getting schnautzed (a grumpy/rude attitude)  at is a typical daily experience. Once you can ignore that the service that you get in the small shops is amazing. I found an abandoned (child sized) easel that I will take to work. 

I spent some time catching up on reading some of the graphic novels on my pile. It is the fastest and more enjoyable way to read in German at the moment.

There is a shop nearby which often has elaborate Lego displays in the window. This was the queue to get into the football.
