My topsy-turvy life

Top of the Wrekin

We revisited the Wrekin this afternoon, walking over 3 miles, stopping for food after 3 minutes, and climbing on the same dinosaur tree* as last time.
The difference this time was, after a snack stop when we got to the old halfway house, we carried on up and up until we got right to the top and the trig point to take in the views over Shropshire.

The fact that Owen walked it all without even being asked to be carried at any point made it even more of an achievement. I am so proud of him for managing it, and he was pretty chuffed with himself too.

Once at the top we explored around a bit, looked at where all the arrows pointed, stopped for more snacks, and played lightsaber battles with sticks, before starting the -quicker- walk back down to the bottom and home.
Now we need to decide where next.
