Summertime...

SWMBO and I headed out into the wilds of Lanarkshire this morning so I could buy some bits of wood and some finish.
The annoying thing is driving about 3 miles past a road junction and coming up against 'Road Closed' signs...... no warnings, no diversion signs. Just having to turn round and try and find a new route down unmarked roads (with the worst sat0nav in the world)
Twice that happened............

Mind you it made it easy to stop and take pictures of the lovely summer clouds! ... and the curious cows (3 shots here).

After lunch I went and did some cutting back of overgrowing leafage .... and bamboo. That is the hard bit and I will need to get the shredder out to deal with reducing the lengths  - it is just too hard on the hands and secateurs.
